activities by CIA or by its recruites.  Lao people as a whole had suffered so much for 75 years under the colony of the white face fvcking French then 15 more years under the influence and interference of white face Americans. The country was basically divided and 3 warring factions initiated a civil war fighting each other for 30 years and eventually the Lao PDR won and declared Laos as a communist state in 1975.  Its oppressive governing system began to losing up in the late 80s and opened up to the world in 1989.  Now millions of its people have access to basic needs, many are becoming rich and the economy has been growing between 6% to 7%, so the idea of having CIA in Laos have become something of the past. Sadly millions are still left behind from the modern day Laos but millions are benefiting from it.
