the same thing in New York City, they would have already been busted and locked up in jail for good.  Resisting arrest, attacking police, targeting specific groups and entity, rioting and vandalism are serious crimes in New York City. 

Few days ago, some radical climate group was vanalizing Wall Street Charging Bull. The police showed up surrounding them.  Notice how docile these radicals were when police confronting them for arresting. They don't dare to fight back. They don't want to risk for long jail term. Plus the New York finest are absolutely fierce. They don't hesitate to shoot.  That is how we keep civility in NYC.
