'.... To avoid a clash, Beijing must stop challenging US allies in the South China Sea and avoid policies that confront vital US interests'

In other words, China must contentedly sit underneath all the honourary-white countries, which in turn behave submissively towards their white master-country that is the US of A!!!

'The differences are significant. The US is not a small island nation dependent on imports to survive. Rather, it is a continental power, self-sufficient in food and energy. While Britain faced its three greatest rivals within 1,300km (800 miles) of its shores, China is 10,500km (6,500 miles) from the US coastline.'

This a an admission that it is not China challenging Uncle-land but the Unclese trying to strangle China. How far is the SCS from the US and from China? China is dependent on trade for its development!

This is no "trade war". It is a war of ambitions. China's ambition is to become a leading economic and technological power-- like many Western powers have done. The West's ambition-- especially America's ambition-- is to make China have no ambitions!!!

'In defending the tariffs, the Trump administration has cited China’s ambition to become a world leader in tech and innovation, detailed in the “Made in China 2025” plan.'

Ever watched Boardwalk Empire? In one scene, a white FBI agent made a comment about Blacks having "ideas". A China that has ambitions is like a Black having ideas-- Both are unacceptable to the White supremacists!
