It appears the world has entered into a new era of intense FUD lead by the USA, where the Fear Uncertainty Doubt is suppose to undermine and weaken existing power structures, their public support and morale.

Taken far enough it can overthrow governments. That is the story of Colonel Kaddafi came to power. They were demonstrating in Libya and next thing you know, Colonel Ghaddfi was leader.

(Uh ... kind of sounds like the good Colonel should have patten this colour revolution thingy).

The irony I find is that the FUD is also intensely stamped onto the unsuspecting US public of Joe Blow and Jane Blow. With the Liberal media and non-stop 24 hour news cycle, FUD has become a way of life in America.
