refused to give them independence.  All they wanted was to have their country back.  Millions of their people suffered greatly under France's colonial rules.  They should not have to shed so much blood and tears and loss so many lives just to have their country back.  After they secured victory in Dien Bien Phu, there was supposed to be general election, but another white face intervened and this time it was a white face American.  They knew Ho was loved by millions of people throughout Vietnam and he could easily won the democratic election.  So they wanted him to only have control of the North and the white face Americans backed the South. Again, Ho had to fight to reunify his country.  As I said before, all these white face mother fvckers were the colonizers.  They had caused so much pain and suffering for people in Asia.  Divide and conguer was their tactics.  The only thing I hate about communist is they were so fvcking oppressive at that time.
