I once said that the most hare brain DrDodo project is carrier based LCA for the simple reason:

1)that an aircraft carrier is expensive to operate, so one should put the most capable jets available(in the hindu case Rafale or mig29)to maximise the effect or justify the expenses

2)since the hindu carrier will not be a hi-tonnage super-carrier, deploy more than one type of supersonic fighter (other than mig 29)on board will be a logistics nightmare.

Well, I was wrong; something more comical is happening:

Since the hindu navy doesn't like the idea of a LCA carrier fighter, now DrDodo want to build  2-seaters trainer for carrier based on the LCA. Just imagine, for the sake of a few trainers(I guess no more than 3 to 5 on board), they need the logistcs setup inside a modest sized carrier for an extra type of fighter. Mind boggling, it isn't ?
