Huawei ARK complier complied programs run much faster on Android than Android conventionally "complied" programs. Huawei has made it an open source software so Google users can still use it. However, if they stop cooperations, Huawei is not going to improve Android anymore obviously.

It is more or less for ARM. Huawei has successfully produced a server CPU using ARM-cores. That means it can help ARM going into server CPU market, traditionally dominated by Intel. If Huawei is forced to stop business with ARM, again, no more innovations from Huawei.
