I personally think Laos made the right choice to opt for J-10C armed with PL-10, and PL-15. Laos currently has 4 Yak 130 in service and 10 are on order. J-10C can stack up against Thai F-16, JAS 39 Gripen, and Viet Su-27, Su-30 fighter jets.
I think Laos and Bangladesh should consider Indian Tejas which has both performance and cost efficient. A perfect mix of western and Russian aviation techniques. Also India would not come with any ulterior motives like China.
