New fighters, new missiles, new destroyers, new tanks.....etc  These stuffs were done after heavy contributions from foreign countries especially Russia and Israel. But China still lacking the stuffs that can made stragetic military power projections to distance place beyond her border! We need nuclear powered aircraft carrier with effective catapults, right now Aircraft carrier Liaoning lacking any catapults! Reliable nuclear powered submarines, the 095/096 were still far lagged behind, their technology levels is rougly US nuclear submarine of  mid1970s. Fourengined stragtic bombers, the H6 or the Tu16 was a medium range subsonic 1950s bomber that hardly called modernized although she has cruise missles and radar!
