Since Trump came to power, Canada still had Trudeau there first.

With Trump making all those noises about trade, there was feeble attempt by PM Trudeau to diversify trade with other countries, which amounted to humiliation rejections. Loud "no thanks" by various people, including China. That was a few months ago.

Two weeks ago, there was a serious diplomatic spat between Saudi Arabia and Canada over human rights abuses. Saudi Arabia flipped out at the criticism from Canada. They had an understandable rationale to flip out. The Saudis were buying Canadian APC for $16 billion dollars. Vehicles used to oppress those human rights. Here was Canada criticizing the Saudis for Human Rights abuses but at the same happily selling the tools for the abuse, pocketing the money. Naturally the Saudis flipped out. They said further business could be in jeopardy. They did not mention anything about current business.

Last week, the NAFTA was renegotiated, by the Mexicans and the Americans. If you are wondering isn't NAFTA a three way agreement? Yes it is. Then why, or was Canada present during the negotiations? That is a good question. No one has a clear answer. Why was Canada left out of these negotiations. The treaty is between 3 parties, but 2 parties did ALL of the negotiations for everyone. Canada must accept the terms, sayz President Trump. WTF?!

They yesterday, a pipeline from Alberta, an landlocked province, to the Pacific coast shockingly loss a court case putting a stop to its development. This is bad. Canada oil industry accounts for much of the wealth in the country, and they cannot build a pipeline. The way the verdict read, it seem all future pipelines are going to be an uphill battle.

So what is the point?

The point is the last part of the article posted above.

Considering what has happened in a span of a few months, that will definitely affect Canada in a very negative way, Canada is going full out totally on the philosophy of being Ah-Q.

What other choice does Canada have at this stage but to be Ah-Q.

There must be some white way of expressing Ah-Q-ism, there must be a simple phrase in English. Don't know what it is.

That is Canada today, Ah-Q. What other choice is the there now but to be Ah-Q.

Danm, I never thought I would live to see the day.
