Seems to happen occasionally in elected governments, that 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 elections, we see a group who never held power before elected, and that lack of experience really shows up in their actions.The current Toronto mayor is a bit like that too. Under his administration, they actually put a homeless shelter into a rich neighbourhood, and people are mad as hell. Not sure why he did it, as he is rich himself. He probably done.
If your friends do not want to vote for you, then the Toronto mayor is done. At least Trump still has friends.
