It's very simple: Religions came, then changed or reformed or evolved. Some even went to a coma or died, like ancient pagan rites of europe and middle east. As I said, sodomy will cease to be a semite sin soon.

Sure some ancient music went extinct because of lack of transcription/recording media. But with modern data storage tech, I'm quite sure Swan Lake or opera Carmen will out-last all the religions in their present form.

Music sure is more long lasting addictive than religion.
