If it is a short and insignificant strike on Syria, then Donald Trump is just trying to act morally outraged. Afterall, he has to at least pretend he cares with the Russian collusion charges swirling around him. If it is a long and sustained operation, then it is a game changer - the US is trying to limit Russia's influence in the Middle-East and more importantly tackle Iran head on.

Of course the only wild card is if there is going to be another "Chemical Weapon" attack. If there is one in the near future, then there is no doubt in my mind the so-called "Chemical Weapon" attacks were staged but the West would surely twist it to its advantage.
