China is not due to a quest for lasting power or greed but rather his patrioticism. And he truly believes that he is the right one to lead PRC to a greater status. He might be quite right about that.  I don't think for once the US and the West really care about the right of the Chinese people.  That's ludicrous and it is the opposite.  They actually want China to have internal problems, week and poor so that they can control and keep their influance and dominance in tact.
