Hi Guys! I have been lurking in this forum for many years. Finally registered!

Very excited to announce launch of a new pdocast with Nate Myers . We have recorded our first two episode. The 1st episode is East meets West: Early American and European encounters with China, with focus on early Sino-American relationship from American Revolutionary War to Opium War.

2nd episode is an interview with fellow War Nerd fan Davide Melia about his experience as an Australian living in remote corner of China, in the province of Yunnan, on the border with Myanmar, with an intro about this little known yet fascinating place and its cultures and people. this is  currently going thru audio editing.

We plan to do an in-depth dive into 1st Opium War next, and genealogy of Bruce Lee! Stay Tuned!

I plan to do a Modern China Series from Opium War to the end of Chinese Civil War in 1949. We are also planning to do a parallel series on infamous Golden Triangle, as well as a series on the current Middle East Wars from Arab Spring to post-ISIS. We may do other topic as well in the future, probably a history of Central Asia and Silk Road, but we are also going to base on the feedback from the listeners.
