Okay, we all heard about the stories about automation of industrial processes in manufacturing, also in services which will displace many jobs which have around forever.

Then that quantum computing, of the computer itself and the quantum network. If the encryption keys are threatened by a very powerful computer, then everyone upgrades. That means all computer systems world wide upgrades. That's a lot.

Then the news that some countries are going all in with the electric over the combustion engine.

That is the question I have because I cannot remember.

I remember I read an article once about how the PRC leadership likes to talks to futurists, especially American futurists.

There was one idea, that went hand in hand with the future of automation. Since everyone saw that coming, with the increasing automation, the futurist believed one way to offset the loss of those jobs, is for the government to go on a deliberate strategy of replacing the power grid, going electric. Such as building the infrastructure for the electric car.

A project like that big, essentially replacing all of the vehicle infrastructure, that will take a couple of generations. That work, could offset the job losses from the automation.

The question is, I forget said this. And they are beginning to do it.

Along with the quantum computing which will replace all computers eventually, to the electric power infrastructure, and to the current AI and automation revolution, seems to me that really is a future.

I just do not remember who suggested the way to offset job losses was the build the electric infrastructure. Been trying to remember for maybe 3 or 4 years now, lol.
