At other sites, I might occasionally correct certain misunderstanding on china or chinese history, I just don't bother to defend 'chinese pride', like IQ, 'race', 'innovativeness'.. . For example some whites have the notion 'confucism' in china is like christianity in the west by citing presence of confucist temple in bigger chinese cities. Actually even a big chinese city might have one(which cities outside Confucius's home province have 2?) confucist temple but the overwhelming majority of chinese don't participate in those temple activities. I have been inside one before but I can't remember it was in HK or Nanjing
