The British mandate of India last more than 200 years until 1947 and it does brought a good one for China! The British divided that British India into four parts: India, Pakistan, East Pakistan later  Bangeldesh, Sri Lanka.  The rivary between India and  Pakistan was an obstacle for India to further ossessing threats to China especally India's appetit to take Tibet.   I am disappointed that China did not exploit their rivary causing more wars between India and pakistan to make attritions of India. Since the 1999 Kragil war, there was no more major wars since then. If Pakistan can do more incursions and presisting  poking the elephant will brought india to further sinking level!
