1. Well, what a headache this is. So it seems that all that bluster from Trump about trade with China, and Taiwan statements, the PRC returns the favour and gives Trump et al a real headache.
2. Clearly a test. The old saying all bark no bite. Lets see what the old man Trump wants to do. Everyone in Asia is waiting for that now. Although I cannot prove it, but Trump I view as an isolationist, whereas most of the other people in the US Federal government still the interventionist type. Some incident like this and how it gets resolved, will expose the cracks and everyone will see what is truth, or dare, or whatever.
3. The subtext is basic too. The last time the Americans loss a drone, it was to the Iranians. The USA and Iran are enemies. That is a long story! Is China an enemy? They just took their drone!
Bottom-line tonight. Looks like a manufacture crisis to see where everyone really stands. Some reports suggests stocking up on canned goods, which may not be necessary, but always a good ideas anyways. You can always donate that to the homeless when the crisis blows over.
