1. Don't think the Chinese are joking or bluffing this time. They will threaten certain actions, and then will back it up. It's like when someone owes money, and it's time collect.

2. If this is some sort of conflict, like "lawfare" or something like that, clearly in conflict it is better to take the initiative, which the Chinese have been doing. Since the Chinese won't really play that up in the media (why tell anyone what your next move is), I mean just do it, which kind of means we have to look at other people's reports with their biases.

I don't know if Chinese media reported this, if they did, may be buried somewhere hard to find.

Even though that could be considered propaganda, it happened and it is still news. Good news.

And reading their article, they talk about the next president having to deal with this, blah blah blah. Like, that means no clue what to do now.

And there is the rub. I really don't China gives a damn what the Americans are going to do at all.

So I figure, if the news is good, then maybe we can tolerate a little anti-PRC propaganda.
