I expected that PCA would just clarify EEZ issues. They have gone a bit further than I expected. As those "lands" are still in dispute, that ruling doesn't achieve much.

The real loser is Taiwan. Before the ruling, people tended to think that they had the EEZ around the Taiping Island. However, according to that PCA, the Taiping Island is a rock and therefore can only be entitled to territorial waters, not an EEZ. So, Taiwan's lost the EEZ according the ruling and of course Taiwan will tell them to piss off.
