1)Historically the phillipines economy has difficulty creating jobs,together with hi popn growth rate, life is hard and many of them want to emigrate

2)the gulf between the have and have nots is huge.Popularist politics rules

3)Pino 'Nationalism' is relaively nascent and confused. Readily admitted by them
