After the annoucement of a complete end to its arms embargo by Obama, Vietnam, with the People's Republic in mind, expects to buy various weapons from Washington in a near future.  An initial list of them are here:

 Immediate big-ticket purchases are not expected but Vietnam's military strategists are likely to seek US drones, radar, coastal patrol boats and possibly P-3 Orion surveillance aircraft.  Washington also is interested in leasing Cam Ranh Bay.
