We now know US government is fooling other in their so called freedom of navigation in west pacific.  Yesterday a chinese fishing vessel from Taiwan was detained by japanese thugs a hundred miles from Okinotori reef.  Japanese said their Okinotori reef, the size of a ping pong table, have a 200 miles territorial water and the Chinese fishing vessel has entered into their territorial water. No wonder US government never wanted to sign the UNCLOS rule of the sea.  It will be handy to defend the japanese claim without loosing face.
