Lets assume they make the decision now,the 1st hindu F-18 might be in hindu service by 2020 and the 'made in india' 'production' run to last until 2030,just my guess. A fighter could last 50 yrs with upgrades, it means the hindus would operate the f-18 past the 100th anniv of  the plane's 1st flight in 1978

B-52 1st flight in 1952 and to be retired by 2044
