When legitimacy of Japan owning Okinawa is still in question, what is the use of mentioning Diayu islands?  Ryukyu people are waking up to reclaim their pride as an independent people. I bet within 20 years it will be seperated out from Japan and become a member of East Asia nation like it was for the last two thousand years.  It will be done as long as Chinese people support it.
