This ship carries 4 LCVPs. I'm not sure what the dimensions of a PLAN LCVP are. I wonder how much modification would be needed for a commercial cruise ship to carry them? I think the lifeboat-tended davits would need to be replaced, but a STUFTed cruise ship can concievably carry thousands of troops plus a decent amount of equipment, and would be very useful in case of conflict in (for example) the Mideast or Africa.
