The most important change to absorb Taiwan is change in economic power.  Everything revolve around economic power. Chinese have a saying, no one wanted a poor cousin if they have a choice.  With prosperity, one's outlook on life change to the better.  As for change in political system, China should evolve according to what it needs rather than copying one from abroad. There is no perfect political system or the world society will be in peace today. Those who propose changes to other are like drug pusher, once you buy into their fufu dust you will be under their control forever, drug pusher only aim to get the most out of their customers.  The world survive and prosper through evolution,  diversity make evolution possible.  There must be people who are willing to try new way no matter how hard it is to give humanity the choice. We should salute these people rather than to dampen their pioneering spirit.
