There is no such thing as "THE WORLD" in US politic except when they feel alone.  Politicians with supremacists inclination and their mouth pieces will never acknowledge Chinese contribution , otherwise there will be no excuse to intimidate and planting disruption to China's economic development.  It is the same a hundred or so ago, no recognition or glorification of thousand of Chinese labor who help built Pacific railway, so Chinese Exclusion law can legitimately implemented later in California. Those who don't learn from history will repeat their evil deed.
