I recall being the only one to say that this was actually a PESA because AESA doesn't need to have separate IFF dipoles since they can just designate certain T/R modules to function as IFF, whereas a PESA has only one T/R module and needs to otherwise timeshare IFF with other functions if there are no separate dedicated IFF dipoles.
