The atmosphere in Asean region is vastly different after the fiasco in Syria and Crimea.  Now they understand the price for stability and they  are more willing to stand up and be counted to preserve the stability they have for the last 20 years.  And they intend to keep that stability for another 20 years for their development without conflict like Syria, Libya, or Egypt.  Obama and his team were humiliated in the Manila Street by Filipino protesters, they will be humiliated again in Kuala Lumpur this week end by getting nothing for his war hawks.   Asian are not afriad to stand together this time.
