I saw them eating my leftovers from the dustbin

"So, I took the plate with the unfinished dosa(hindu pancake?) and threw it in the dustbin and the subsequent events which followed, shook my entire self and sent a chill down my spine. The two slum kids, who had been the silent observers, almost instantaneously jumped at the plate, took it out from the dustbin, had a small fight over their respective shares but finally took two almost equal proportions of that unfinished dosa and happily vanished in the oblivion."
