Chinese Americans were lighting the candles and held our hands walking in circle as we prayed for the People's Republic of China during the killing in Tiananmen Square protesters.
I am sure Deng Xiaoping did not have mentality like yours and that’s why China is who she is today. When Deng realized that China would be third world forever he introduced Western Style Economy; he was pretty damn sure America and the West were on his mind as the main export of Chinese commodities and he sure knew the purchasing power was not another communist Vietnam, Cuba, ect. Did not he say to accommodate American foreign policy whenever possible and to have a good relation with U.S is crucially unavoidable fact? Because of his genius decision, China have had huge trade surplus all along. You tend to forget that most Chinese people had lived under dire poverty prior to 1990, but because of Chinese leadership opted to be friend with American and the West made China fulfill her dream today. If Chinese government had your mentality, PRC would still be paddling bicycles throughout streets of Beijing today. I hope you chill out a little bit your Anti-American and learn to go with the flow like President Hu and Premier Wen.
