At the time, this military base was just completed and there were millions of dollars weapons being stored inside this base in the open.

There were few insiders who feed this weapons location and information to the Iraqis Insurgents and they successfully fire rockets and set off a chain reaction on these American weapons destroyed this American base with some serious number of American killed and wounded.

There was another video, which was taken at a longer distance shot and shows the full extend and spread of the fireballs over very large distance. I would estimate that distance to be in the tens of kilometers; given the relatives scales and distance of the surrounding area.

These video was first posted on the Youtube under the original American base name and immediately removed by American authorities. Over time, people will post segment of these video under different names; but they will also get removes once the American government learn of these.

This 1.3+ billions American base is one of 14 of such large super bases built by the American to control Iraq; and now it goes up in smoke.
