China , remember full well the drives in the U.S. to support the Chinese people and thier struggle with clothing and food drives , money donations and U.S. Arms Shipments . We saw News-Reels of the Rape of Nanking (sp), were incenced and redoubled our Charity. Children in Schools gave thier milk money , as did I . A few years later I was fighting the Chinese in Korea as a young Marine Squad Leader . Have you not heard of "Flying the Hump " , and the brave American Pilots that died trying to bring food and medical supplies into China ?
More recently , if President Nixon had not opened trade with China your present prosperity would be a chimera . Stow the arrogance and get real.
