Yes you should thank the PLAAF airmen for dying.....They wasted good soviet equipment by letting pilots with little or no training fly and die. They did not accomplish much. You should be thanking the Soviet airmen and their country for providing planes and pilots. The stupid "mother land" was incapable of producing anything as good, reliable, and as effective. Get your facts straight my friend...give the credit to those who deserve it; the Russians. They are the ones who allowed China to even keep up with America in the war.
