The Chinese Olympic committee would probably agree with you that
they haven't done well in some areas. But so what? They're
probably very happy with the overall results, however. And what
team isn't disappointed with some results? Americans? Russians?
Can you name one...? You can't because there aren't any...But don't worry. Be patient. IF Beijing gets the Olympics in 2008,
you'll see Chinese entered in every event (even your most favourite
ones!) As host nation it will be their right. Then you'll see Chinese
making asses of themselves competing in sports they're not yet ready
for. That should make you happy and justfy your feelings of having NO
FAITH any more. You can then go on a mammoth binge of self-pity... Until then, let those who are successful enjoy themselves. At least
they're trying!!! And they'll leave faithless people like you behind...
