Did you know that the government doesn't really give a crap unless the violence really poses a threat to it.That's why you don't see any organized crime groups taking root here,but there still are roving bands of youths which pick fights over idiotic things like insults and staring.And why?Because these people usually are in superior numbers and are armed,though lightly.(Knives,poles and such.)Now,if we were allowed to have guns,everyone would adopt the mentality of "Anyone can blow anyone away at anytime" and trust me,I believe it would be much safer.This would be like the concept of "Mutually Assured Destruction."We'd be more careful and less crime would occur.

I am not sure about you,but I feel that the safety our government provides in exchange for the lack of freedom is not at all worth it and is in fact a very,very unfair deal.
