Also, wouldnt it be better if the formations are triangular instead, like 3 brigades in one army group (or division) instead? For example, the Bundeswehr's ordbat is to have each division to contain 3 independent brigades, and that was effective.BTW, how many tanks are in a battalion? Also, seeing that there're like 120 choppers in an air brigade, it looks like PLA army groups have more chopper support than even US Army divisions and corps.
